Hey everyone!

My name is Chelsea Szalay, owning my own salon has been my biggest goal ever since I got into this industry, and i’ve finally been able to make that happen! Wave Salon + Co. is a modern boho styled salon where clients can come to sit back, relax, and get pampered!

I first started out learning I loved all things beauty when I was just a little girl by always chopping up my barbie’s hair, which eventually led to experimenting on my friends. (I’m sorry!) Right off the bat, I knew I had a passion for blonding, extensions, and balayage. The process of these services was just so calming and natural for me. I’ve had the opportunity to train with many experienced educators to perfect and really specialize my craft.

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually hanging out with my son, Lennon, my husband, Matthew, and our two crazy dogs who most definitely keep us busy! In my other free time I absolutely love trying out new local restaurants and breweries, especially if they have a great outdoor patio! Food truly is my weakness and I would be honored to try all of your homemade recipes! On top of my food obsession, I’m a true crime documentary fanatic, who swears she was a detective in another life.

Bringing joy and making someone feel their most beautiful self is what I strive to do each and everyday, which is the main reason I chose this career path. I promise from the second you sit in my chair, I will listen, educate, and help you find the perfect look for your unique skin tone, eye color and lifestyle to make you feel your absolute best!
